After experiencing a lot of Problems with Windows Vista while working with VMware and Visual Studio 2005, I got a new Laptop (Dell Latitude D830) with Windows XP. Now everything works in the known way. ;-)
The machine comes with a Intel Core 2 Duo processor having 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM and a hard drive with 160 GB and 7200 RPM.
